Overall, it is clear that the Australians used much more water in their houses in comparison with other purposes. Also, water used for the garden and kitchen was higher figures compared to others.
Regarding the consumed water, residential houses used more than half of the total amount of money (57%), whereas the figure for residential apartments was too low, constituting 13%. In the similar way to residential apartments, others figures, including business, industry, and the government made up around 9%.
Focusing on water usage, for all purposes water was used just under 30%, considering bathrooms (28%) and gardens (27%) required more water for consumption in 2004. The gap among figures for a toilet, washing clothes, and a kitchen was only 5%, standing at 15%, 20%, and 10% respectively.
