The pie chart illustrates who were the main consumer of the Australian’s water and the bar chart depicts how that water was use by residents, in the year of 2014.
Overall, from the pie chart what stands out is the dominating percentage of residential uses, while for the bar chart, it is the closeness in percentages of water being used for gardening and using the bathroom.
Firstly, the pie chart shows the largest water consumers were residents, in which the 70% had a half of it is accompanied by houses and one fifth was by the apartments. At number 2 is industrial use which is one tenth of the whole graph and less by only one percent is the business use at number 1. Lastly, 6% of the water is use by the government and half of it is use for other reasons.
Turning to the bar graph, it is evident that residents used water mostly for gardening and the bathroom, as they ranked first and second in the uses and their percentages are only one percent from each other, respectively 28% and 27%. With washing clothes being one fifth, came the two remaining reasons differing by only 5%.
