At first glance, it is apparent in the pie chart that there are four places such as community halls & others, school halls, college-based studios and private studios for dance. Meanwhile, it can be observed that in the pie chart there are three types of dances, with ballet being the most significant among them.
It is worth mentioning that the majority of dance activities were held in private studios and they accounted for nearly half of the percentage, precisely 48%. The lowest percentage showed college-based studios accurately ten per cent. School halls and community halls & other locations displayed 24% and 18% respectively.
In terms of the types of dance classes, ballet was more popular than others, but only for those under 11 years of age, whereas the modern type was half the size of the ballet type from 600 and 300 respectively. Conversely, the number of adolescents aged 11-16 participated the least in ballet and the most in modern. However, in tap as many under 11 as students aged 11-16 participate approximately 450 pupils.
