The given figure illustrates the average expense of the families in a community in 1950 and 2010.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that, in 1950, most houses spent in housing, followed by other expenditures (food, education, other, transportation and helathcare). However, in 2010, large expenses is spent on food and other consumption has also significanlty increased.
In 1950, large numbers of houses is spent significantly on housing at 72.1%, followed by food which accounted for 11.2%. Furthermore, 6.6% of expenses is spent on education, and others at 4.4%. Whereas, the least amount of expense is spent on transportation(3.3%)and helathcare (2.4%) simultaneously.
In 2010, the amount spent on food increased considerably which accounted for 34%. Futhermore, expenditure on others and transportation also increased significantly at 19.2% and 14%. However, families expenses on housing decreased at 22%, education and healthcare remained constant with slight fluctaion at 6.3% and 4.5% each.
