According to the pie chart, productivity of land has decreased mainly owing to the fact of three reasons, where overgrazing is the maximal among them. The second highest percentage is deforestation, which is only five percents more than overgrazing. Furthermore, over-cultivation has affected lands negatively as well, however significantly less than others.
Looking at the table, it can be seen that Europe’s lands were the most degraded between all three regions, within 9.8 percent deforestation, 7.7 percent over-cultivation and 5.5 percent overgrazing. Meanwhile, North America had fewer effect with 0.2 percent deforestation, 3.3 percent over-cultivation and 1.5 percent overgrazing. Oceania had the second highest percentage, with thirteen percent of debased land in total.
