The graph compares how the European Union spent its budget in 2001. Overall, we can see that EU spent the must money on agriculture and the least on “other” sector.
In 2001 they spent 42% of their budget on agriculture and 31% of their budget went on regional help and it is significantly more than they spent on foreign aid, which they spent on 9%. The percantage of the money they spent on administration is slightly less than on research, 7% and 6%. And as I said previously the least money European Union spent on is the sector “other” – 5%.
From this graph we can understand, that EU spends the most percantage of money on agriculture, which is almost a half of all the graph, and regional, which is approximately one quarter of the graph. In addition rest of the sectors all together are also about a quarter of the graph.
