The pie chart illustrates how different sectors contributed to the overall economy of Turkey in the year 2020, expressed in percentages.
Overall, healthcare and education had the largest contribution, while finance, business, and other made up the smallest portion. Most sectors contributed relatively even shares, with no apparent outlires.
As mentioned before, healthcare had the largest share at 17%, followed closely by trade, utilities, and transportation at 16%. Furthermore, agriculture, along with leisure and hospitality each represented 14% of turkey’s economy.
Regarding the remaining categories, manufacturing comprised 12% of the economy, which was 2% higher than construction, at exactly 10%. Moreover, the government sector constitued 9% , while the last category, finance, business and other accounted for just 8%, making it the least significant among all sectors
In summary, Turkey’s economy in 2020 relied most heavily on public services and trade-related sectors, while finance and business played a more minor role.
