Unlike England and Australia, in India, people tend to insure their health and life rather than their vehicles.
According to the worldwide distribution, 35% of vehicles are insured. The percentages of individuals who insured their health and life are slightly below than that of auto, accounting for 31% and 28%, respectively. Other kinds of personal insurance policies constitute only 6% of all.
On the other hand, a quarter of England population has insurance, while the largest amount of insurances, with 10% of all, accounted for auto. Similarly, in Australia, auto insurance has a larger proportion, with 1.9% of all insurances. Nevertheless, in India, the proportion of health and life insurances are relatively higher than auto, accounting for 3.5% and 1.7%, correspondingly.
