Overall, it is clear that social security made up the largest proportion of the expenditure, while the transport accounted for the smallest share. It is also worth mentioning that the difference between the largest and the smallest was significant
Looking ath the details, the amount of spending on different sectors varied widely. Social security and Health along with personal social services stood at 100 and 53 billion AED respectively. The third place was taken by Education with 38 billion AED. Other areas, namely defence, debt interest and other form of the expenditure formed 22 or 23 billion AED. UAE spent between 13 and 17 billion AED on industry, employement and housing along with environment as well as law and order. The least concern for the government of UAE was transport with 9 billion AED.
