The pie chart displays different sources of information that raised people’s awareness about their health and Covid-19 issues in 2020. Overall, a significant number of people were informed about these issues through TV while hospital or primary care clinics played a less important role on health literacy and COVID-19.
In 2020, tv was the most prominent means of media which informed 90.2% of people about health literacy. Following this, nearly half of people became more concious about health issues by reading newspaper. Almost 40% of people were warned by their family and friends.
The internet and social media also contributed to people’s health literacy. While 26% of people used the internet to be aware of health issues, the figure for sharing on messaging apps was roughly 23%. Only 5.5 and 2.7% of people were educated about health matters via posters and care clinics, respectively.
