Overall, it can be seen that donated food accounted for most of the income while program services accounted for majority of the expenditures. The total revenue sources just about exceeded the total expenditures.
In detail donated food brought in more revenue for the charity, at approximately 86%. On the other hand, program services were responsible for most of the of the outgoing expenditures, at 95%.
The other categories were much smaller. Community contributions, which were the second largest source of income, brought in 10.4% of the overall income and it was followed by program revenue at 2.2%. Government grants, investment income and other income were very small sources of revenue accounting for a combined total of 0.8%.
The only other two expenditures were fund-raising and, management and general, accounting for 2.6% and 1.6% respectively. The total income was $ 53,561,580, which as was more than enough to cover the total expenditure at $ 53,224,896.
