Overall, the highest number of people use English as their online language, whereas the lowest number of people were online in november 1997.

Maximum number of people who use internet, prefers to use english as their online language, reportingly 43% of total internet population.However, 8.2% of the individuals use japanese and 8.8% of people use chinese as their online language. Additionally, 6.8% of total population use german, whereas 6.5% of pupils choose spanish as thier internet language. By contrast, only 2.1% of individuals use dutch as their online language, which is the lowest proportion in the chart.

Moving on to the table, in november 1997, only 76 million people were online worldwide. In the following year, the number of pupils who were active on the internet becomes almost dubble then last year, accounting for147 million.
