The pie chart depicts the percentage of males and females who were arrested in five years from 1989 to 1994, while the bar chart compares the prime reasons that they were arrested mostly. It is clear that men had the highest percentage of individuals who were put in jail than women in five years and public drinking was the common reason for both genders who got arrested.
To begin, the proportion of males who were thrown in jail was bigger than females for almost five years, accounting for 32% and 9% respectively. In addition, the number of female prisoners who were not arrested was higher than males, accounting for 91% and 68%.
On the other hand, the percentage of public drinking reasons were higher in females than men, accounting for below 40% and around 30%. Furthermore, the reasons for females who were assaulted was higher than males, accounting under 20% and approximately 15%. However, men who got arrested because of drink driving, breach of order, and theft were greater compared to women, accounting at above 15% and below 15% for women. Moreover, for other reasons why men got arrested were higher than women, and for no answer women were higher than males.
