The pie charts compare five different types of energy production in a European country over two different years. Units are given in percentage.
Overall, the change was minimal in the kinds of energy production in both years. Coal demonstrated the highest amount of use out of five categories, with “other” making up the smallest amount of the chart.
In both 1995 and 2005 coal took up the largest portion, at 29.80% and 30.93% respectively. It was closely followed by gas, which increased from 29.63% to 31.31%. As for, petroleum usage, it witnessed a significant decrease, depicting at 29.27% in 1995 and almost 10% less in 2005, at 19.55% ,coming third after coal and gas each year.
“Other” energy sources were the least popular both times,demonstrating a twofold increase from 4.90 to 9.10 over the years. In comparison nuclear energy production took up 6.40% of the chart in 1995 and showed a slight growth in 2015 at 10.10%.
