The pie charts illustrate the five kinds of energy were generated in a European country between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, the production of five types of energy showed an increase, with an exception of petroleum. Additionally, coal was generally the most produced category, whereas other sources were the lowest fuels.
In 1995, gas, coal and petro were the dominant sources, reaching almost equal percentages of energy generation, around 29% to 30%. The nuclear production accounted for comparatively small amount, at 6.4%, while other sources were produced at the least level, just about 5%.
Over one decade, coal and gas generation experienced a marginal growth to approximately 40% and 30.31% respectively and maintained the major production. Similar changes, but to a larger extent, can be seen in the figures for nuclear and fuel sources, which grew nearly doubled to about 9% and 10% correspondingly. In contract, petrol was only the decreasing category, undergoing a dramatic downward trajectory to 19.55%.
