Overall, it can be clearly seen from the charts that people in San Diego and California spent the largest proportion of water on two categories, namely residential and industry. Meanwhile, the usage of water on agriculture is more than double around the world compared to residential and industry.
In San Diego, the largest proportion of water supply was spent on residential, which represented 60% of the total usage. While in California, the figure for this category was only 39%. California’s people used the second- largest amount of water on the other categories, industry and agriculture, 33% and 28% respectively.
However, in San Diego, the amount of water that consumed by industries and agriculture were lower by 10%. In terms of water usage were more than double, from 28% to 69% worldwide in comparison to California. The other two categories, one of those is residential, were merely 8- %, and industry showed 23%.
