As is observed, San Diego’s water usage was dominated by the residential sector, accounting for 60% of total consumption, followed by industrial use ranked second at 23%, while agriculture represented the smallest share, at just 17%. On the other hand, California prefer to allocated its water usage equally across the three sectors, with residential, industrial , and agricultural use stood at 39%, 33%, and 28%, respectively. Furthermore, the rest of the world distributed 69% of its water consumption for agricultural sector, While industrial use accounted for 23%, with residential use recorded least share, at merely 8%.
