Overall, the figures for mobile phone, tablet and flat-screen TV experienced rises throughout the period while those for laptop, desktop computer and conventional TV dropped significantly. Although conventional TV accounted for the highest share in the first year, it formed the least percentage after a decade.
The share for mobile phone saw the highest increase, from only 8% in 2009 to 27% in 2019, making it the most used device by then. The figures for tablet and flat-screen TV also increased significantly. The former reached just under 20% from a mere 5%, while the latter was responsible for 15% and climbed to 26% by the next year.
In 2009, conventional TV accounted for a largest proportion (34%) and it decreased dramatically to a mere 4% after 10 years. Desktop computer users formed 18% and the percentage of them decreased to two-third of that in the next period. The figure for laptop contributed one-fifth of all proportions in the first year before showing a fall to 12% in 2019.
