The charts give information about the proportion of different age groups of people visiting from the USA to Canada in 2000 and 2020.
Overall, people aged 35-54 consistently accounted for the largest proportion in each chart. The proportion of people aged over 55 and 0-15 increased while the 25-34 and 16-24 age groups fell noticeably.
To begin with, percentage of individuals aged 35-54 in declined from a half in 2000 to 35% in 2020. Despite the fall, those aged 35-54 remained the most famous figure in each chart. The second highest share was people aged 25-34 in 2000 with 20%; however, it had decreased 8 percentage points and reached 12%, standing at third place in 2020.
Turning to remaining categories, the share for visitors in the 35-54 age group grow from 16% to 26%, accounting over for one quarter of the total with 26% in 2020. the proportion of young visitors whose aged between 0 and 15 had increased subtly by 2% from 10% to 12%. Finally, there were nearly fourfold increase among the percentage of visitors aged 16-24, 4% and 15%, respectively.
