The given pie graph illustrates the key factors of students’ decision to study at a specific UK university in two years of 1987 and 2007.
Overall, it is evident that the most significant factor was suitable degree courses in both years. However, close parental and quality of teaching had the lowest importance.
As can be seen, more than a third of reasons why students chose to continue their education in a UK university were suitable degree c sources in both years. In 1987, the second main factor was quality of resource that contained a fifth, and it comprised less than a fifth in 2007 that had a third position.Close to parental was another reason in 2007 at 22 percent which contained one in ten in 1987.
Good sports and social activities were the other factors which completely varied in both years, hence it was in higher percentage in 1987 at 19 percent that decreased to 6 percent in 2007. The last one was Quality of teaching. It acted as a former one that had less than a fifth in 1987 which fell to 8 percent in 2007.
