The pie graphs compare distinct ways to make online course booking in three separate nations in the years 2009 and 2010.
Overall, while Canada and the USA witnessed an escalation in booking in advance with agents, but declined in the number of students applying on the internet after 2 years, Australia showed a reverse pattern. Additionally, the USA exhibited the most minimal changes in the proportion of all booking categories.
Regarding the arrival method, Australian statistics recorded an increase by 4%, making it to 30%, whereas the popularity of this method in Canada dropped from 45% to only 26%. Besides, the USA remained stable at 24%. Turning to pre-booked with agents, Canada documented a climb from 22% to 35%, marking the most prominent method chosen by students in this country, whilst that figure for Australia decreased from over a quarter to around 10% during the 2-year period. Ultimately, that percentage of USA was 28%, after being at 28% initially.
Concerning the remaining cohorts, the use of the internet in booking courses in Australia rose substantially from 24% to 39%; however, the other nations saw minimal falls by 1% to 2% and stayed at 25%. As for other methods, the percentage of both Australia and the USA dropped by 3%, starting from 23% and 26%, respectively, whilst that of Canada ascended by three times higher than the previous number, which was only 6%.
