The pie charts illustrate the sales of online shopping for four retail sectors in New Zealand, in the years 2003 and 2013. Overall, it is evident to note that the percentage of travel and clothes shopping has decreased in comparison to film/music and books, which increased throughout the given period.
When looking at the sales online of travel, it is salient to note that, in 2013, the sales was 36% compared to 2003, where it was 29%, making it the highest sector among all others. Whereas, clothes sales dropped from 24% to 16% in the same year.
In terms of the remaining retail sectors, movies showed a slight growth from 2003 to 2013, at 21% and 33% respectively. Although the rise of book sales was small, from 19% to 22%, it makes it the second highest proportion in 2013.
