Given two pie charts illustrate the proportion of energy, which was produced by fuel source in France in two different years, 1990 and 2010
Generally speaking, the most noticeable feature is that the percentage of nuclear power significantly changed from 1990 to 2010. In contrast to hydro power, which had the smallest number of proportion in both years.
In 1990, the biggest percentage of sources were coal and natural gas’s with 28% each. They were closely followed by oil, which accounted for 22%. In constant to oil, the percentage of nuclear power is smaller with a share of 17%. As for the least significant category, Hydro power, its use was significantly smaller than other four sources, with only 6%
The share of Nuclear power has significantly increased between 1990 and 2010, with accounting for 17% in 1990 and 67% in 2010. The percentage of natural gases decreased was only 4% in 2010, when the shares in 1990 were much higher. In 2010, contribution of coal and oil was similar, with 13% in both years. Hydro power shares the smallest number of percentage in 1990 and 2010 with 6% in 1999 and 2% in 2010
