The pie charts illustrate the proportion of pop music fans related to their age in 2018 and 2021.
Overall, the group of 15-18 years had the biggest ratio in both years even despite the fact that other categories increased their amount, while the teenage and 19-25 years areas had decreased.
The three biggest categories in 2018 were 15-18 years, 19-25 years, and 26-34 years, with 37%, 28%, and 21%, respectively. While the category between 26 and 34 years raised its portion to a quarter, the 19-25 years section felt a considerable decrease, reaching only slightly more than one-fifth in 2021. In addition, the 26-34 segment replaced the 19-25 area as the second highest category but was still less than the teenage section which dropped to 31%.
Looking at the other fractions, in 2018 people from 35 to 55 years had just under one-tenth which is higher in comparison with people older than 56 years with merely 3%. Despite a rise in 2021, the percentage of people older than 56 years remained the smallest area with just 7%, whilst fans between 35 and 55 years went up to 16%.
