The given pie charts illustrate the proportion of pupils on the one adult education center receiving different courses in 1985 and this year. Overall, it is clear that modern languages was the most common course, while the lowest proportion of students took part in music appreciation in 1985. However, this year the highest percentage of students participated in IT courses, while art become the least popular course in this year.
What stands out from the chart is that modern language was the most popular courses, as about 24% of students participated in 1985. Meanwhile, fitness and dance ranked second, accounting for 22 percent points. Other courses such as cookery, art, and local history had the same proportion of students, representing 14%, 17%, and 15% in 1985. Music appreciation, on the other hand, attracted the lowest percentage of students, accounting for approximately 8% in 1985.
As for this year courses, IT became a dominant course, attracting huge proportion of student, at 27%, which was it peak level. Conversely, fitness and dance and cookery demonstrated nearly the same proportion of students, at 22% and 19%, respectively. About 17% of students took modern language course in this year. The art course was the least popular course, accounting for approximately 15% of student enrolments.
