The pie charts illustrate the share of classes within an adult school taken by students in 1985 as well as this year.
To summarize, the IT class received the most interest, while both subjects of music appreciation and local history were not taught anymore. A slight increase in the cookery class has been observed, while art and language class saw a slight drop in interests. Finally, the fitness and dance course maintained its share of interests.
The recently-introduced IT class saw the most interest out of all subjects provided within this year, with 27% of students taking it. However, classes such as music appreciation and local history were dropped from the list of available courses, as both classes had been taken by 8% and 15% respectively.
Out of all the subjects retained between 1985 and this year, cookery saw a gradual increase in interest, going up by 5% this year from 14% in the previous survey. Unlike cookery, however, students lost interest for the language course as its participation rate declined by 7% down to 17%, followed by art, which went down slightly by 2% from 17%. Unlike the mentioned classes, the fitness and dance course maintained its share of interest at 22%.
