Overall, working adults spent most of their time in their workplace rather than other five activities during this period, while employees spend very little time travelling to work.
Examining percentages of spending time in 1958 in detail, working adults spent 33% of time in their working place and this activity dominates in the list. Regarding sleeping time with numbers, 25 percent of their time working adults spend sleeping and it ranked in second place. Continuing with relaxing activities, working adults spent less time relaxing, only 19 percent of their time spent with their family members or with their friends, while they spent just 8 percent of time relaxing at home, respectively. Finishing with time which they spent less than others, they spent only 6 percent of time on hobbies like sports, whereas only 2 percent of the day, working adults travel to work.
Looking at percentages of spending time in 2008 with numbers, adult employees spent their time almost as past in that period. However, they start spending more time on their interests and hobbies rather than going out with family or friends. Representing 8 percent for hobbies and only 6 percent for their closes. Additionally, they spent more time on their way to work, presenting 8 percent, 6 percent more than in 1958. Surprisingly, in 2008 most working adults prefer indoor activities, it shows 13 percent of them prefer relaxing at home.
