Overall, the percentage of adults spend their working time on different exrcises – working, relaxing at home, other interests or playing sports, and travel to work – exhibited an increase throughout the period. But this reverse was true for sleeping, and going out. Moreover, the working stood out among the other things with the highest figure each year. In addition, the other interests or playing sports show the lowest change during the period.
Focusing on the increases first, the working observed the biggest change among the other things. Starting at 33 % in 1958, the working rose dramatically to 42 % in 2008, and this year it reached the peak. Started at mere 2 % in the first year, the percentage of adults spent their time on travel to work grew considerably to 8 % in the final year. The relaxing at home initially at 8 % in 1958, after a decade it increased gradually to 13 %. It reached the second place after the working, with the 13 % in 2008. The latest trend among growths – the proportion of adults spend their time to other interests or playing sports- went up slightly between 1958 to 2008, reaching just 2%.
Turning to the decreases, the slepping starting at the highest figure after ther working, in the first year it started at 32 %, and in this year it reached its peak, but after a deacde it decreased significantly to 25 %. The final trend among the declines, the percentage of adults spend their working time on going out with family or friends, fell substantially from 19 % to 6 %, reaching just 13 %. And it reached the biggest change was the decreasel, not the increase.
