The pie charts depicts, the percentage of time that the working public used in various employments in 1958 and 2008.
Overall, the majority of the time spent is working in both of the graphs. There is a noteworthy decrease in going out in 2008 than in 1958, which portrays that people see less of their friends and families during the former year.
The charts illustrates, there is a modest increase in working, from 33% to 42% and a miniscule development in time used on other interests and commuting to work in 2008. Similiarly, relaxing at home had also risen from 8% to 13%. Conversely, the time spent going out with friends and families had dropped significantly from 19% to a measly 6%. Likewise, productive sleeping had also fallen from 32% to 25%.
This indicates vividly, that employed adults spent more time in work than sleeping and going out with friends. Instead, these hours were substituted by relaxing at home and the commuting to work. It can be safely assumed, that this particular country had undergone an urban development and growth. As the country became more populated, more housing and public transit were constructed. People saw less of their loved ones as the country grew in size as the commute became an unwanted hassle.
