Overall, it can be noticeably seen that the reasons for shopping online and in-store are disparate. In part of online shopping, the reason, which is given the most, is it saved time, whereas others people chose in-store shopping because they can touch item.
In part of online shopping, consumers gave many reasons to choose online shopping such as save time, 24/7 shopping, greater variety, and avoid queues. All of these reasons are reasonable. However, the most popular reason is save time, accounting for 34%, followed by avoid queues, 24/7 shopping, and greater variety, at 31%, 21%, and 14%, respectively.
In part of in-store shopping, consumers had different views from online shopping. The reason, which is given the most, is can touch item at 40% which is the largest proportion in this pie chart, while save delivery cost accounted for only 8%. In addition, another reasons which is popular is can talk to sales person, accounting for 35%, followed by greater variety at 17%.
