The provided pie charts compare changes in the usage portion of five types of online search engines between 2019 and 2021. Overall, Chrome accounts for the largest share of desktop browser use in 2019 and 2021, whereas Edge and Other account for only a relatively small share of desktop browsers users.
In 2019, Chrome was the dominant internet browser with accounted for 69%, while Firefox making up 9% as well as Safari with exactly the same share. Meanwhile, Edge and Other use for internet browsers remained minimal at 5% and 8% respectively.
This trend experinced only slightly shift for all kinds of surf softwares except Edge. Chrome -still the most predominant browser for users- were declined marginally into 67%, followed by Others, which dropped by 2%, as well as Firefox went down by 1% compared to the previous year. In contrast, there was a minor increase in Safari’s usage share, bringing it to 10%, and significant growth – approximately twofold – was observed for Edge, reaching 9%.
