Overall, chrome is the most prominent desktop browser of all time. Firefox, safari and edge has more or less of 10% users only.
During 2019, chrome dominated the 67% of desktops. Firefox and safari had 9% of users respectively following to a close second in place. Edge accounted for only 5% of users while other third party browsers constituted around 8% of the total users.
On the year 2022, chrome still dominated the top place with only a minuscule decrease of 2% users, accounting for 67% of the whole. Subsequently, Firefox and other browsers also had a marginal decrease In the number of users constituting for about 8% and 6% respectively. On the contrary edge had shown a substantial rise in usage now responsible for 9% shares along with safari with 1% increment making it a 10% share of the whole.
