The pie charts present data on some types of news sources opted by each age group in the year 2022.
Overall, televisions were chosen by the largest number of people. While teenagers showed less preference for printed newspapers, the old considered them the second most important.
When it comes to the proportion of TVs watched, that by the elderly ranked first (42%). Conversely, as regards printed newspapers, they were accessed by low percentages of younger people, only 6% for teenager figure and 7% for young adult one.
Turning to online news sites, the old showed less inclination to access them (merely 6%). However, slightly over a half of teenagers were likely to use these sites. This figure for the other age group held the second position (33%).
