The pie charts illustrate compare distribution of six different types of cultural and leisure activities between boys and girls by the result of survey.
First chart shows boys’ cultural and leisure interests. We can clearly see that the boys prefer playing computer games rather than reading. Computer games had 34% of the votes, while reading allocated for 2% of the votes. Another 26% of boys chose “basketball”, and 17% were voted for “soccer” as a leisure activity. Also, “listening music” and “skateboarding” choices had quite similar results. The percentage of “listening music” was 10% of participants choice. And another 10% of boys chose “skateboarding” as a hobby.
The second pie chart explores girls’ cultural and leisure interests. The result of the survey of girls’ leisure time chose mostly “dancing”, with 27% of girls votes. In contrast with boys’ survey, girls mostly prefer reading than playing computer games. The number of votes for reading was 21%, and 16% of girls chose “computer games”. In addition, the choice of”netball” activity accounted for 15% of votes. Another 11% of young ladies chose “gymnastics”. Only 10% of girls prefer listening to music for free time.
