The pie chats depicts the proportion of volunteers across six different organisation types in the year 2008 and 2014.
Overall, three out of six given categories witnessed the rise in the share of volunteers in environmental, sport and health in this period. While that if them in the art, educational and others categories showed the reverse. Although the largest share of volunteering was registered in the educational and environmental sectors in 2008 and 2014 respectively, the lowest percentage was noted in health industry each year
The proportion of volunteers in environmental, sport and health sector had increased in 2014. The percentage of environmental from 21 to 29 in 2008 and 2014 respectively. Meanwhile, the largest growth was observed in sport category where the percentage increased by 10% reaches its quater in 2014. However the health care industry had the lowest figures showed the negligible growth by only 1% from 7% in 2008 and 8% in 2014.
By contrast, the figure for remaining sectors were declined. A 7% drop was recorded in the educational realm accounting 17% in 2014. At the same time art and others categories was decreased by an identical 6% from 18 to 12 and 15 to 9 percentage respectively.
