The given pie charts depict proportions of energy sources in Australia in 2008 and expected proportions in 2030. It can be seen that coal and oil are two main sources of energy in both perticular periods.
In 2008, coal and oil captured 39% and 32.5% of total energy sources respectively by gaining 71.5% of entire energy source. Here coal was 6.5% extra than oil. In term of gas, it stands for 22.90% of total power source.renewable energy sources had tiny proportions which is 0.2 to 0.8%. Than at last other sources stand for 4.30 %.
In 2030, oil will exaggerate greater percentage than coal where oil stands for 35.5% and coal stands for 22.30 percent. In this year, gas will capture substantial proportion of total energy source which is 32% and 10 % greater than 2008.There will be a new source of energy in 2030 which is geothermal and it will account for 4.30%.Other sources are almost same as 2008.
Overall, it is expected that geothermal will be a new source of energy in 2030 and gas and oil both will capture the greater portion of energy in that perticular period.
