The pie charts represent the places which have been taken priority over others for Germans and Nigerians to go and have access to the news in a very normal week. It should be noted that Nigerians pie chart only contains urban areas and overall the patterns in both pie charts are much different than each other.
One of the most prominent features in these charts is that checking TV and newspaper or the most popular ways to get the news in both countries at about 75 %, While just under half of Germans exists the newspaper the proportion of Nigerians is about 13%.
It’s a parent that listening to the radio in Nigeria is about twice as popular as in Germany which is just one tenth. One other major difference between Nigeria and Germany is that over 110 of people go to check the internet in the latter while just 2% of people check the internet talk to family and friends in the former country.
In summary, it can be said that whilst TV and newspaper are the most favored news providers in both countries the two countries otherwise exhibit different news consumption habits.
