Overall, it can be seen that the two nations display broadly disparate patterns. reading newspapers is the most popular way among Germans, compared to viewing television among Nigerians. Furthermore, other sources like family and friends comprises the least common way in the two countries.
Looking at the newspaper group, the figure for Germany accounts for 45%, being more than three-times as much as that of Nigeria. Moving on to television, the perportion of Nigerians who follow news via that amounts to slightly under two-thirds as the highest percentage, whereas watching news on television is the second most favourite means in Germany, at 30%.
In terms of less preferable sources, the internet and television categories total approximately one-fifths in both countries. Likewise, the number of those who use other sources is very negligible in each area.
