In April 1994, the Sedan brand showed the highest trend, at 74%, followed by the ‘others’ sector, which recorded only 19%, while the SUV brand accounted for the lowest proportion, at 7%. According to the total sum, it showed 42,900 new cars. By 2004, the Sedan segment had dropped to 62%, a decline of 12 percentage points, whereas the ‘others’ segment rose to 21%, but the SUV brand recorded a trend two times higher, at 17%, and the total sum accounted for a noticeable change to 71,000.
In April 2013, the Sedan brand declined again to 51%, while the ‘others’ segment rose 11 percent points, to 32%, but the SUV brand recorded a similar percentage, at 17%. However, the total sales recorded a gradual increase, reaching 85,000.
