Overall, it is clear that an overwhelming majority of boys tends to prefer playing computer games, while mostly girls are into dancing. Interestingly, three activities are different for both genders. Only girls choose gymnastics, netball and dancing, whereas only teen boys like basketball, soccer and skateboarding.
More than one-third of young men tend to spend their free time with computer games, at the same time only 16 percent of girls spend spare time by this way. Besides, children both genders are interested in sports. For instance, approximately one-fifth of boys and girls plays soccer and netball. Additionally, a large number of young women choose reading (21 percent), meanwhile only 2 percent of boys like spending time with books.
In addition, the similar propotion of people both genders are fond of listening to music, at 10 percent. Also, one-ten of girls are interested in gymnastics, and the same percentages of boys prefer skateboarding.
