Overall, the cafe has undergone a significant modernization and expansion. The key changes include the elimination of staff dining rooms, the introduction of a salad bar, and an entirely new outdoor seating area.
Regarding the cafe before its redevelopment, the northern section featured the kitchen and a rectangular serving area, which provided all food and drink. To its east, two identical staff dining rooms were positioned, whereas the main body of the area was mainly occupied by tables and chairs. The southeastern portion of the cafe contained a toilet, together with a small rubbish bin situated along the east wall.
In the current layout, modifications have been made. In the north, the kitchen area has remained in its original place, with the serving area turning into hot meals counters. Moreover, a salad bar has been introduced along the west wall of the cafe, while in the opposite side, the single bin has been removed, creating space for recycling bins. Furthermore, the staff dining rooms have been converted into two separated areas, one serving take away food and the other becoming a coffee bar. Most noticeably, the cafe has expanded southward, leading to the addition of new exits to facilitate movement, to house barbecue and outdoor seating sections.
