Task Response

The report attempts to address the task but contains significant inaccuracies and omissions. It misidentifies key changes (e.g., 'Sealand bar' instead of 'Salad bar', 'hot meals room' instead of 'Hot meals' counter) and fails to mention important elements such as the removal of staff dining rooms, the specific new counters (Coffee bar, Take away food), and the recycling bin. The description of the outdoor area is vague and inaccurate (e.g., 'Barbecue has kept for the visitors' and 'new outdoor seating' without details). The report also includes irrelevant or unclear statements (e.g., 'Wastes area has increased and High amount of garbage can be stored'). To improve, focus on accurately summarizing the main changes, using precise vocabulary, and ensuring all key features are covered.

Coherence & Cohesion

The report attempts to organize information but lacks clear paragraphing and logical flow. The introduction is brief and does not provide an overview of the main changes. The body paragraphs are not clearly separated, and the progression of ideas is often confusing. Cohesive devices are used sparingly and sometimes inaccurately, making the message difficult to follow. To improve, structure the report with a clear introduction, an overview paragraph, and detailed paragraphs that logically group related changes. Use a range of linking words and referencing to enhance coherence.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with some inappropriate word choices (e.g., 'lodge', 'kept', 'focus on extra view'). There is an attempt to use some specific terms like 'salad bar' and 'outdoor seating', but overall the range is narrow. To improve, use a wider variety of precise vocabulary related to layout and changes (e.g., 'relocated', 'converted', 'expanded', 'designated area'). Avoid informal or incorrect expressions and aim for more natural and sophisticated language. Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The report contains numerous grammatical errors and punctuation issues that significantly impede understanding. There are problems with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'changes occur', 'has been built'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'has beed', 'has been built'), and missing articles. Sentence structures are often incomplete or run-on, and punctuation is frequently incorrect. To improve, focus on writing clear, grammatically correct sentences. Review basic grammar rules, such as tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and proper use of articles. Practice using a variety of sentence structures, including complex sentences, with accurate punctuation.
