The plans illustrate the interior development of a building over the 43-year period.
It is observable that the kitchen and entrance remain unchanged throughout the timeline. The facilities were distributed around the periphery, creating a hallway in all three versions.
In 1958 to 1984, there was a toilet to the left of the entrance, which was facing the reception area in the lower right corner. Regarding upper corners, the meeting room and the kitchen were situated in the left and right one respectively, whereas the manager’s office stood in the middle of the left side, opposing assistant’s and secretary’s.
During the next 15-year phase, the floor plannings changed significantly to fit the use of an apartment with the replacement of the meeting room to a living room, but took up a more considerable area . The same procedure applied to the restroom, which was repurposed into the bathroom and shower. The space between the room for receptionist and the manager’s was demolished as the emergence of bedroom 1 and 2. As the purpose of this building has changed into a florist’s shop in 2001, while the two aforementioned bedrooms have been converted into an office, the living room has been redesigned into gift card storage.
