Two line diagrams describe the layout of Porth Harbour. The first one shows the initial layout in 2000, while the other one show how it ppears today.

The land area of the harbour has a north-south main road in the west that connects to showers and toilets, and two car parks. This area also consists of public beaches, and a disused castle to its far east. The sea area of the harbour consists of a marina for private yachts and fishing boats, and docks for passenger ferries and lifeboats.

According to the current layout, the additions that have been made to the land area of the harbour are showers, toilets, cafes and shops. Moreover, the castle has been converted into a hotel, while the public beach near it has been privatized. The sea area now has an additional dock, and the private yachts and fishing boats in the marina have exchanged places.

Overall the harbour has added showers, toilets, cafes and shops, and inter-changed the private yachts and fishing boar areas. Moreover, the castle has been converted into a hotel, and the beach near it has been privatized.
