To begin with, in 2000, the harbour had the public beach in the north and adjacent to it the dock with two ferries for passenger, while today the dock is separated into two parts and the ferries are three. Moreover, in the west, there was the marine ( private yachts) at the top and the fishing bouts on the bottom. Currently, these two places are exchanged sites. In 2000, next to the marine there is a car park with showers and toilets, in addition to another car park beside the fishing boats area. In the current design, another showers and toilets room is built adjoining the car park.
In the south, now there is a notable addition of a café and shops between the lifeboat and road. Furthermore, the castle, which was disused is renovated to hotel and the public beach is converted to private beach for the hotel.
