The plans below show a harbour which is named as Porth harbour in 2000 as compared to how it looks now; it can be seen that harbour was underdeveloped back in 2000 meanwhile if we see the plan of today’s harbour it looks developed and there are some extra features as well.
Firstly, if we look at the plan of harbour back at 2000, it can be seen that it had some main features back then; like there was two car parks one on the main road and another on the harbour road. There was a facility of shower and toilets on the north side just next to car park, also if travel on the road of harbour on Southeast side of the harbour, there was a castle and a beach which was open to public. Lifeboat was also available on far end road; there was a dock and another public beach on north side of the harbour and a place for fishing boats and marina (private yachts).
Secondly, looking at the todays harbour plan it is clear that there are some extra features and some changes in location as well. All other places are same except on the site of old castle there is a hotel now, and the beach close to it which was public beach is changed to private hotel beach. There is a cafe on just right of the lifeboat instead of one dock there are two docks now; and another shower and toilets are built just next to other second car park, also places of fishing and marina are interchanged now.
Conclusively it can be seen that harbour now have some extra features like hotel some shops etc. as compared to 2000 one which has a castle and was underdeveloped.
