The map illustrates the public park during its earlier days and the present day.
Overall, it can be seen that garden has been replaced by other amenities in the Arnold avenue. The seats were dispersed during its inception, but now it has been set at one place. Entrance remains unchanged, except for a new entrance that has been introduced for the car park.
In 1920, the park was surrounded by rose garden in its north and south side, a state for musicians to perform was located in the west, just besides the fountain, which was at the centre of the park. The seats were placed at every direction of the park. In the north-east, a pond for water plants was set up. Moreover, a glass house was also seen in the south.
Today, the park has introduced a cafe, as well as, a children’s play area in the south-East. The rose garden has replaced the fountain in the middle. The amphitheatre for the concerts has taken over the place, previously occupied by the stage. The seating has been situated around the rose garden at the centre. Whilst, the glasshouse is displaced by the water feature.
