The two maps illustrate how a small theatre changed between 2010 and 2012.
Overall, the theatre was modernised significantly, with new facilities being constructed to facilitate performances and cater to the audience’s needs. While most facilities were either relocated or removed, the auditorium and the main door remained in their original positions throughout the timeframe.
Regarding the upper part of the site, the dressing room was relocated to the west of the stage, with new showers being introduced next to it. A corridor was also constructed, occupying the original location of the dressing room, while the storage room was moved to the east of the corridor. By contrast, the stage still retained its location, near the centre of the theatre.
As for the lower half of the theatre, the admin office was transferred to the southwest of the auditorium, whereas the ticket office was moved to the southeast corner and replaced the former cafe. Additionally, a new restaurant was built in the southwest corner, occupying the previous positions of the admine office and the ticket office. However, the main door in the south and the auditorium in the centre remained unchanged throughout the period.
