The two maps show the layout of a village in the year 2000 (Map A) and its current layout (Map B), illustrating several significant changes over time.
In 2000, the village featured a central “Main Street” running horizontally through the area. To the north of the street were a restaurant and a hotel, while to the south were a pub and a shoe factory. Additionally, farmland dominated the southeast portion, and a small number of houses were located to the northwest and southwest.
In the present day, the village has undergone noticeable transformations. Most of the original structures remain, but some have been repurposed. The shoe factory and pub are now empty, while new residential areas have been developed. Houses now occupy much of the northwest area, expanding towards the southwest with a modern circular layout and even a playground. The farmland has been entirely replaced by additional houses in a curvilinear arrangement.
The village has shifted from a more industrial and agricultural focus to primarily residential, reflecting modern development trends. Overall, the village now emphasizes housing and recreational spaces, with a noticeable reduction in farmland and industrial facilities.
