The two maps bellow illustrate the layout of a village in the UK changed from 2000 until now. Overall, there are several significant changes over the surveyed period.
It cleary seen from the diagrams, in 2000, the village was divided into 2 halves by a primary road running from the southwest to the northeast. On the west side of the road, there was residential area with a few houses. To the north of the street, was a house and beside there were a hotel and a restaurant. While in the south were a pub and a shoe factory. Additionally, shops and farmland were located in the southeast portion of the map.
In the present day, several houses in the northwest have been expanded. Most of the original structures remain, but some have been repurposed. Restaurant and hotel have been demolished and became empty buildings in the village. While in the southeast, farm and farmland were replaced by a great number of houses. In the center of the map, pub and shoe factory are also empty now. On the other hand, a new playground is built in front of the main street
